Did you know that the salted caramel trend originated in Brittany, France? Henri Le Roux opened a chocolate and ice cream shop in Brittany and he decided to combine some of the regions most prized items – salt and butter - and make a truly wonderful caramel. Our salted caramel includes cream and butter from Isigny AOC and salt from the salt marshes of Guerande . Combining the chocolate with a little salt intensifies the flavours and reduces any bitterness. The salt is quite subtle and should burst in your mouth before lingering on your palate. Try it and you’ll be hooked!
Ingredients - sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifier: soy lecithin, natural vanilla. Added ingredients: glucose syrup, whole milk, cream from Isigny AOC (10%), butter from Isigny AOC (3.7%), salt of Guerande, emulsifiers: rapeseed lecithin & sucrose esters of fatty acids. (milk solids 22% min; cocoa solids 33% min).
